An elegant and refined late 18th century English mantel in statuary marble with Verde antico Greek Key inlay to the frieze panels flanking a raised and fielded projecting centre tablet and flutes of Verde to the pilasters. The corner blocks delicately carved with rosettes and the corniced mantel shelf with carved dentil and pearl bead ornamentation.
